DESCRIPTION
B Vintners ‘Lone Wolf’ Cinsault 2024 is made entirely from heritage bush vines planted in 1953, rooted in granite and schist soils at the Bellevue site in Stellenbosch. Grapes were vinified with approximately 50% whole-cluster fermentation, including a semi-carbonic element, before maturing 1012 months in seasoned oak barrels to preserve fruit purity while adding texture and complexity. Residual sugar: 2.2g/l. Bottled at 12.5%. (Bottle size 75cl)
TASTING NOTES
Nose: Fragrant and restrained, showing red cherry, plum and potpourri, lifted by fynbos and earthy undertones.
Palate: Juicy and light-footed, with crunchy red fruits, raspberry, bramble and pomegranate. Spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg, accented by fynbos and savoury nuance.
Finish: Clean, balanced and gently piquant, with a bright, long finish of lingering plum and fynbos.
