Description
The winery Ballerin is located in theVeneto in north-eastern Italy. This region has always been associated with viticulture, being one of the most historically important regions in Italy and Europe at large, and having a strong tradition of trade and innovation. Ballerin uses the “Champagne” model to produce it sparkling wines – namely, combining only Chardonnay and Pinot Noir varietals in their blend. This gives the wine a clean, crisp taste that goes well with salty snacks (plain potato ships are highly recommended) but also goes well with sweet treats such as cookies.
