Bardstown Double Barreled Series #13 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: Rich brown sugar, caramel, dark stone fruit (prune/fig), toasted oak, campfire ash and a hint of dark spice.
Palate: Decadent and fullbodied with vanilla extract, toffee, clove and cinnamon, dark fruits, some tobacco/ash edge and robust oak influence.
Finish: A long, somewhat dry finish lingering oak tannins, white pepper spice, dark fruit echoes and subtle tobacco/charred wood.
