Founded in 1838, Maison Roullet-Fransac has a long and illustrious history of producing fine French Cognacs. Eager to make their own mark in this world-famous region, they developed a whole new expression in their Bauchant Orange Liqueur. Totally unique when it was introduced in the 1970s, it isstill one of the only orange liqueurs made in Cognac.

The recipe for Bauchant Orange Liqueur has remained unchanged for over 50 years. Artfully crafted exclusively from premium-quality ingredients, the liqueur is made with only VS and VSOP Cognacs, as well as a proprietary blend of orange essences from Curaao that imparts great complexity and depth to the spirit a market differentiator, as most other orange liqueurs rely on only one type of orange. This level of quality consciousness continues in the distillery, where the triple-distilled, aged cognac bases are carefully blended to achieve the final spirit.

Bauchant Orange Liqueur was exported to the U.S. not long after it was first conceived it was one of the first orange liqueurs to hit the market and has become a staple in upscale cocktail bars and restaurants.
