Description
Ironclad Distillery was built in 1913. In its 100+ years, its seen a lot of things. (Its got the inscriptions on its walls to prove it.) But for five of those years arguably its most important this building has dotingly aged this bottle.
The Bottled-In-Bond Act of 1897 ensured the quality of any spirit labeled whiskey by stipulating it be aged in a federally bonded warehouse for at least four years, be the product of one distilling season from one distillery, and bottled at 100 proof.
This bottle honors that. Itstheirway of giving this great old American building credit where it is due: That every drop of bourbon we make is completely, always, lovingly made in-house.
Heres to wetting whistles in an old dry goods warehouse.
Aged five years. 100 proof. 750mL. *Peel the label back to enjoy a little history with your whiskey.*
