The 2022 Clos Bellane Ctes du Rhne Villages Valras Rouge is a vibrant expression of Rhne Valley terroir, blending 50% Grenache and 50% Syrah from 30-year-old vines cultivated organically at 410 meters elevation in Valrasthe northernmost and coolest village of the Southern Rhne.

This wine presents a deep violet hue with intense highlights. On the nose, it offers aromas of blackcurrant, green pepper, olives, and a hint of menthol, underpinned by earthy and undergrowth notes. The palate reveals smooth, velvety tannins complemented by a refreshing acidity, leading to a harmonious finish with elegant fruity and spicy nuances.

Vinified with native yeasts and aged for 12 months70% in concrete tanks and 30% in used French oak barrelsthis wine showcases a balance of freshness and complexity. It’s an excellent companion to charcuterie, cured cheeses, and red meats.
