Description
Del Maguey – Vida Single Village Mezcal is a mezcal distilled from mature agave harvested in Oaxaca and other producing regions. Hearts are roasted in underground pits lined with volcanic rock, imparting the signature smoky character. Once roasted, the agave is crushedoften with a stone tahonaand the mash is left to ferment naturally.
Distillation occurs in copper or clay pot stills, with small batch runs carefully monitored to capture the heart of the spirit. Resting may take place in glass or neutral containers to settle the flavors before bottling.
Every step follows artisanal traditions passed down through generations, ensuring authenticity and respect for the land.
