This is the little wine from one of the worlds greatest producers of Chardonnay produced from grapes grown in the, arguably, the two greatest Chardonnay villages in the world. What more can we say.
The mineral core is present, but well coated with rich fruit from and excellent vintage. Long and complex, it is these little wines that produce the greatest value in Burgundy, because they are produced using the exact same vineyard and cellar techniques as the great vineyard bottlings from the same producer.
