Description
This Old Tom is a contemporary take on the gin style from 200 years ago. However, rather than adding copious levels of sugar to mask impurities, Edinburgh gin focused on distilling botanicals that impart a naturally sweet flavour to gin. Sarsaparilla root adds an earthy sweetness, tonka beans add flavours of vanilla and almond, meadowsweet flowers give honeyed floral notes, vanilla pods a sweet and creamy texture, and macadamia nuts a smooth, oily mouthfeel.
