Description
The latest manifestation of the Delaunay name actually represents a revival of a once great Burgundy company which, since 1893, has made wine over five generations. The Edouard Delaunay brand was sold in 1993 but in 2017 Laurent Delaunay seized the opportunity to re-purchase the company and the winery which is connected to the family home, Chateau Charmont, so the company is once more under the control of the family which founded it. Currently the domaine purchases grapes from impeccable sources, including some of the most prestigious premiers and grand crus in the Cote dOr but will consider purchasing land if the opportunity arises. Hong Kong is the first Asian market to receive an allocation of the new generation of Edouard Delaunay wines
