Great Lakes Midwest IPA (ABV 7%) is an easy-drinking American IPA . A sensible amount of hops politely greets a mild mannered finish. Welcome to the unofficial IPA of Midwest Nice. Brewed with Triumph, Strata, Cascade, and Citra hops, and 2-Row Base and Honey malts, it has an IBU of 45 and pairs well with kielbasa, grilled corn, and pierogi. 12 oz.cans.

Founded in 1988 by brothers Patrick and Daniel Conway in Clevelands Ohio City, Great Lakes Brewing Company (GLBC) is Ohios first brewpub andmicrobrewery. Since then, Great Lakes has been a driving force behind the revival of theOhio Cityneighborhood and the craft beer industry in Northeast Ohio. Independent for over 30 years and employee owned since 2018, it now serves 14 states and Washington. In 2023, it was ranked as the 17th largest craft brewery in the USA. While production has expanded to adjacent and nearby properties, the brewpub and restaurant remain in their original locations.
The brewpub and restaurant feature a Tiger Mahogany bar from the 1860s, a Beer Cellar and the Rockefeller Room, named after Standard Oil founder and Clevelander John D. Rockefeller, who was thought to have worked in the building. There is a gift shop which sells beer, along with apparel and barware. Brewery tours are available on weekends.
