Description
The *perfect* sake mimosa starts with Tsuru-Ume Mikan.
Tsuru-ume Natsu Mikan is a (sometimes) seasonally limited Tsuru-ume release from Heiwa Shuzo. The name Tsuru-Ume refers to the use of Umeshu as its base, and natsu mikan refers to Japanese summer orange: natsu mikan!
There are many kinds of oranges grown in Wakayama, but to make this particular liqueur Heiwa Shuzo uses a combination of locally grown Natsu Mikan, Amanatsu and lemon. The fruit are all squeezed with the skin left on so that you can enjoy the powerful zestiness and balancing light bitterness (think Campari!) in this rich orange sake with a hint of fizz.
