Tasting Notes

Aromasof caramelized apples and peaches, dark cherries, orange peel, and baking spices. A full and layered palate. Notes include caramel, honey, andrye’s characteristic baking spices. Cinnamon, peppercorn, and a touch of chili pepper heat. The finish is clean and vibrant with notes of apple, peach, dark cocoa, and nutmeg that linger.

Suggested Serves

Excellent for sipping neat, but the 90 proof is also a sign that High N’ Wicked Straight Rye is idealin a Manhattan cocktail.

Production Notes

Made from 95% Rye and 5% Malted Rye.

The mash begin with the famed aquifer water from New Riff Distilling which is limestone-rich and comes from directly below the distillery.

Following a 3 day fermentation, thisrye is distilled using an all-copper distillation path, which assures maximum interaction with the metal, yielding High N’ Wicked’s intense and unique character.

The spirit is then aged for 5 years in toasted and charred New American White Oak Barrels. That toasting allows the rich flavors to develop, while the char ensures interaction with a layer of charcoal for natural filtration.

Never chill filtered –to retain maximum flavor, aroma, color, and texture.
