To create the well-rounded character of the 12 year old, we harmonise whiskies matured in hand-selected, first-fill, sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks, which together deliver its main flavor profile of spicy-sweetness and mellow warmth. Additional refill casks round out the powerful notes from the first-fill casks, resulting in a classic, versatile whisky thats always finely balanced.
A fresh-faced, zesty whisky with a natural golden amber color direct from the cask. Spicy but mellow, with subtle smoke on the finish, its a great introduction to the unique warmth of Orkney heathered peatand the convivial spirit of our island home.
