Description
Indri opened its award-winning single malt whisky distillery in 2012. Nestled in the foothills of the Himalayan mountains near the Yamuna basin, the distillery is named for the small city in Haryana, India, where it’s located.
In an uncompromising quest to create the finest spirits, Indri uses a traditional Indian
six row barley, which is cultivated using old, indigenous practices that rely
on organic and sustainable methods. The yield may be smaller but it lends a fruity
and floral distinctive taste to the spirits.
Nose: Welcoming nose with significant pineapple aromas, vanilla, honey, and sherried raisins.
Palate: Creamy rich mouthfeel, with slight tannins on the tongue. Gentle spice and oakiness.
Finish: Long, Lingering and balanced. The sweet fruit lingers.
