Description
For several decades and until 1992, Jim Beam filled a portion of its bourbons into imaginatively designed decanters, which quickly became popular gift and collector’s items. The decanter featuring the likeness of the famous ventriloquist’s dummy Mortimer Snead was produced in 1976. Assuming it was filled in that year or the following, 1969 emerges as the latest possible distillation year.
