The Seppeltsfield Centennial Collection is the worlds only unbroken lineage of single vintage wines spanning 144consecutive vintages.
The Rutherglen arm of Seppelt lasted until 1983, when the old barrels of fortified stocks were brought back tocontinue aging at Seppeltsfield. To this day they produce great fortified wines from Muscadelle grapes grown inRutherglen, yet lovingly raised in the Barossa including their 100 year old Topaque/Tokay.
These Tokay casks are so rare, they just might be the only parcel in existence.
Nose – Manuka honey drizzled over raisins, almonds and toffee
Palate – Creamy coffee fudge on arrival, with apricot conserve and developing honeycomb.
Finish – A long and warming complexity with muscovado and iced tea
