“Syrah, a grape variety originating in the Rhone Valley that has become very popular internationally, thrives in the Languedoc region. This is a rich, powerful wine that combines aromas and flavours of red fruit and a touch of menthol with a refreshing finish reminiscent of forest undergrowth.
Les Jamelles Syrah boasts deep colour and a syrupy consistency. Its wild fruit (raspberry, redcurrant, blackcurrant) and floral (violet) aromas harmonise with flavours of spices, vanilla and cinnamon, along with a touch of mint.
This wine is very rich and full on the palate, with a touch of minerality as well as a long, silky finish that is of rare complexity and boasts a lovely lasting hint of liquorice.”
