DESCRIPTION
Launched in celebration of the 150th Open Championship at St Andrews, The Open Special Edition of 2022 was created in partnership with Colin Montgomerie, Scottish Professional Golfer and Loch Lomond brand ambassador. A combination of spirits from both Loch Lomond’s unique straight neck and more traditional pot stills were selected, matured in American oak casks and finished in Bordeaux red wine barriques. Presented in a gift box bearing Colin Montgomerie’s signature. Non-chillfiltered and bottled at 46%.
TASTING NOTES
Nose: Fresh and fruity, peach, pear and red apples with rose floral notes.
Palate:Burst of strawberry, peach and lime citrus leads into creamy fudge and light biscuit sweetness.
Finish:Long with lingering oak spice and soft smoke.
