About the product: Lost Lantern hand-selected this cask from Brooklyn-based New York DistillingCo., one of the countrys first and finest urban distilleries and a champion of therebirth of gin and rye whiskey in the Empire State. This is our first release fromthe distillery, which was our very first rye whiskey partner, since 2021.This special release, made from 72% rye, 16% corn, and 12% malted barley, wasaged for a full ten years in New York State, making it tied for our oldest ryewhiskey ever and one of the oldest New York whiskies ever released. The nosehas rich notes of lemon custard, fresh mint, lemon verbena, leather, and denseoak. The palate bursts with notes of rich dark chocolate, mint brownies, andcinnamon-frosted babka. Remarkably fresh, deep, and complex.
