Macallan 31 Year Old 1990 Fine & Rare #11233 Vintage Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes
Nose: Honey, lemon citrus, light peat and wood. Robust floral notes.
Palate: More dried fruits (raisins) than on the nose. Peat smoke is still evident.
Finish: Treacle toffee, cloves and prunes. A classic expression of a well aged first fill, Spanish oak sherry cask.
Distillery Information
The Macallan’s origins can be traced back to 1824 when Alexander Reid established a distillery on the banks of the River Spey in Scotland. The original facility was little more than a farmer’s barn, but with hard work and dedication, Reid and his family’s business quickly grew.
