Description
Crafted from a combination of the finest Speyside and Islay Single Malts, including aged GlenAllachie, Batch 2 of this Lum Reek 10-year-old is the perfect balance between peat and rich, fruity character.
The spirit was laid to rest in premium Spanish sherry casks, wine barriques and virgin oak casks at The GlenAllachie Distillery. As time passes, the flavours marry and extract additional characteristics from the wood, creating a deliciously sweet yet subtly smoky flavour profile.
Nose – Waves of grilled honeycomb, ginger and vanilla, with cinnamon, campfire smoke and treacle.
Palate – Bursting with dark chocolate, burnt orange peel and honeycomb, followed by smoked spices, butterscotch and roasted coffee beans, with notes of ginger on the finish.
