As craft distillers, the Bearhill team views its mission as creating new and interesting whiskies that transcend the well-worn paths and broaden the understanding of what great Canadian whisky can be.

Named after Mount Tekarra in Jasper National Park, Batch 02 of the Tekarra features a unique grain mash bill inspired by Imperial Porter, utilising a masterful selection of malts: Superior Pale, Crystal, Dark Crystal, Chocolate, and Midnight Wheat. And taking advantage of the unique Canadian one-eleventh rule, Demerara sugar is added to the pre-distillation wort to create a cascade of flavours.
