Description
A juicy and vibrant Albario burting with ripe peach, candied lemon and pineapple mixed with fresh Atlantic minerality. The wine shows a warm green-flecked yellow colour with aromas of peach and rich stone fruit, backed by pineapple, candied lemon peel, buttercups, and a hint of baked apple. Bright acidity, a light limey spritz, and a long tropical finish.
Mar de Enero is the personal project of winemaker Miguel ngel Moreira (Manyo). After working with producers such as Ral Prez, he returned to Galicia to craft wines that express the Atlantic character of Ras Baixas. Grapes are picked ripe but fresh, then gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel with minimal intervention and low sulphur to preserve purity and terroir.
