This festive mezcal from Montelobos is distilled three times: first as a classic Espadn, then again after hanging a turkey breast (pechuga) in the still along with seasonal fruits and spices. Crafted with organically grown Espadn in Santiago Matatln, Oaxaca, the agave is slow-cooked in stone pit ovens, mashed via tahona, fermented in pine vats, and double-distilled in copper stills before the third distillation adds a savory, celebratory dimension.
