Description
This excellent red Bordeaux offers a graceful expression of Pinot Noir, with floral and spicy aromas of red and black fruits that lead into a silky, elegant palate. Subtle mocha and underbrush notes mingle with a mineral tension, while refined tannins frame a lingering, alluring finish.
These reserve wines from legendary chateaux and historic vintages have been kept in temperature-controlled settings and moved minimally throughout their lives. We highly recommend storing them in a cool, dry place–if not a temperature-controlled refrigerator–horizontally to keep the corks moist and healthy. Finally, we strongly suggest using ONLY a two-prong bottle opener, often called an Ah-So wine opener or butler’s friend, which allows you to extract a cork without puncturing it,criticalfor older bottles, as the cork may become brittle and break if using a classic corkscrew.
