Ocho tequila is the result of un-parrelled attention to detail in every step of the production process. Over-ripe agaves are hand selected from single estate plantations which gives the master distiller,Carlos Camarena, full control over the aroma and flavour profile of the end product. The results speak for themselves.
Each years releaseis equally superb but with its own nuances. This 2015 vintage is one of note scoring 90/100 from the panel at tequilamatchmaker. It is likely the lightest coloured Extra Anejo you’ll find… Get ready for that complex agave goodness.
AROMA:Vanilla and cooked agave with citrus such as lime and grapefruit.
TASTE:Not what you mightexpect froman Extra Anejo. It is packed with loads of roasted agave. It is not overpowered by the barrel. Caramelised sugar, notes of coffee and chocolate and baking spices with vanilla and a rich mouth feel. Woah, this is something special.
