He later became President of Stitzel-Weller Distillery, earning acclaim for his dedication to fine bourbon. Despite the industry’s evolution, his vow to produce superior bourbon remains unbroken. After many challenges, Julian III revitalized the familys bourbon tradition in 1981, eventually partnering with Buffalo Trace in 2002. This collaboration has upheld the high-quality standards of Old Rip Van Winkle while increasing production for future enjoyment.
