The ninth release in Penderyn’s Icons of Wales series, The Headliner is inspired by Britain’s only Welsh Prime Minister, David Lloyd George, who created the more headlines than any other statesman in the 20th century. Matured in a combination of Jamaican rum and ruby Port casks, The Headliner offers aromas of strawberries and cream, cranberries, nutmeg, vanilla, cinnamon and oak spice that fill the nose, complemented on the palate by notes of dried fruit, salted caramel, blossom honey, black pepper spice and dry oak throughout the palate.
