Perfect Day 2020 $29This is always our favorite wine from the Pittnauers. 54% Muskat Ottonel, 29% Sauvignon Blanc, 8% Chardonnay, 4% Gelber Muskateller, 5% Traminer, 100% Delicious!Each grape sees a slightly different regime with varying amounts of skin contact and different containers– amphora, steel and old barrel, then assembled and bottled unfiltered with minimal sulfur. Aromatic and expressive, this jumps out of the glass with stone fruit and exotic spice. Medium bodied with just the right amount of grip from the skin contact, but on the lighter side of the Orange wine spectrumwithbeautifully balanced acidity.
Konig Ros2020 $20Late season pink made from 80% Blaufrankisch, 10% Zweigelt and 10% St. Laurent, all direct press and aged in steel on the lees. Fresh and bright with red berry fruit, citrus zest and crushed rocks with nice weight to it and a savory streak that keeps this out of the summer water category and just right for this beautiful early fall day.
