Distillery Information
“Port Dundas was a legendary Glasgow distillery, founded 1811, that grew to become Scotland’s largest, a major grain whisky producer for the DCL (later Diageo) blending empire, known for innovation with Coffey stills and American corn, but it closed in 2010, becoming a “ghost distillery” with its site demolished, leaving behind valuable leftover casks.”
