The Story: You never forget your first love! Our first ever Seelbach’s Private Reserve was Toasted French Oak and Maple barrels. That was back in September 2021. While I love the releases we’ve done to expand our line since then, there’s no denying it was time to bring this blend back. Seelbach’s adage is ‘we create blends that no one asked for or knew they wanted.’ We take pride in crafting layered flavor profiles using traditional finishing techniques. Our French toast and maplesyrup finished bourbon exemplifies perfect balance.The toasted barrels contribute notes of bakingspice, vanilla frosting, and oak tannins, while themaple barrels provide upfront sweetness, body,and a hint of aged leather on the palate.
