This 16 year old Japanese single malt whisky was laid to rest in April 1986 at the Yoichi distillery and was bottled for The Scotch Malt Whisky Society in July 2002. Bottled as the inaugural Yoichi release from the SMWS, under society cask number 116.1, this ultra rare specimen was bottled at a natural strength 56.6% ABV and is characterised on the label as ‘Coconut peapods and tropical hothouses’.
