The Colours Of Rum Guyana 1991 Enmore KFM Foundations | 700ML Tasting Notes
Nose: Rich, full-bodied. Extremely deep, the aromatic palette reveals delightful scents of sandalwood, dried fig, walnut, incense, prune, and truffle. Upon aeration, it evolves toward more empyreumatic tones (gasoline, bitumen) and roasted notes (coffee, red tea).
Palate: Lively, dynamic. Continuing the herbal (tobacco) notes from the nose, the flavor profile is built on a wonderful root bitterness (gentian) and vegetal notes (sugarcane). Flavors of walnut husk, curry, and dried coriander gradually bring a great deal of freshness.
Finish: Long, velvety. Orange zest, grated ginger, gentian liqueur, musk, 100% dark chocolate, thyme infusion, and very ripe bananasall these radiant, mature flavors contribute to a voluptuous and insatiable finish. Similar to the apricot and licorice notes in the retro-olfaction.
