Distillery Information
“The Glenturret distillery is Scotland’s oldest working distillery (since 1763/1775), nestled near Crieff, known for its traditional, hands-on methods and famous resident cats like world-record mouser Towser, surviving closures to be revived by James Fairlie in 1957, later becoming the heart of Famous Grouse blends before a 2019 Lalique Group purchase shifted focus to luxury single malts with a new sustainable approach, as seen on Master of Malt and Berry Bros. & Rudd.”
