Origins & Craftsmanship
This limited-edition release from The Macallan is part of the Distil Your World series, created in collaboration with the renowned JoanRoca (of El Celler de Can Roca) and Master Whisky Maker DianeStuart. The journey began with immersion in Mexico City, exploring the marigold-strewn pathways, the smell of pan de muerto, the colour-burst of Day of the Dead altars, and the tastes of Mexican mole and charred pineapple.
Production involved selecting The Macallans finest sherry-seasoned American and European oak casks, to capture flavour references that evoke that cultural experience. The whisky is bottled at 48% ABV, presented in an expressive package reflecting Mexicos joy, colour and tradition.
