Tillingham Pinot Gris

VEGAN / UNCERTIFIED BIODYNAMIC / NO ADDED SULPHITES

Fragrant and floral, with a grippy structure on the palate, this Pinot Gris has a lovely and light amber hue. Some of it undergoes a bit of maceration before it’s combined with the rest, which undergoes semi-carbonic whole cluster fermentation in concrete. These batches are then aged in large oak barrels and concrete vessels, bringing plenty of complex woody notes and crunchy fruit.

Tillingham is the brainchild of Ben Walgate, who has quickly become a winemaker to keep your eye on. The primary focus of the label is ecological biodiversity, which has led to the production of distinct, exciting wines. Using natural methods, they combine ancient traditional farmingtechniquesand contemporary best practices to create a range of low intervention wines that allow the grapes to really shine.
