Description
A cloudy and ever-so-slightly effervescent Gewurtztraminer from great Judith Beck. Very perfumed, with signature aromas of lychee and rose petals, as well as some thyme and clementine. On the palate, we find some more aromatics, spice, and texture from spending roughly ten days on skins, and resting some months in old barriques.
The Judith Beck winery is based near lake Neusiedlersee, the warmest region of Austria for wine production, although Judith’s vineyard sites tend to the cooler side, producing wines with more fresh fruit characteristic than you’d normally see from the region.
