Winemakers Background:
Weingut Cantzheim is led by Anna and Stephan Reimann, whose work is centered around the historic Cantzheim Manor, an eighteenth-century estate overlooking the Saar valley. Anna, a native of the region, studied enology and viticulture at the University of Montpellier and gained international experience at renowned estates including Via Santa Rita in Chile, Maison Joseph Drouhin in Burgundy, and Greenough Vineyard in New Zealand. She later met Stephan at Weingut Markus Molitor, where she served as Director of International Sales while he managed vineyard operations. Together they have revitalized Cantzheim, restoring its vineyards and transforming the manor into a small hotel while carefully cultivating historic Riesling parcels that reflect the precision and elegance of the Saar.
