Winemaker’s Background:

Baia Abuladze and her siblings are pioneers in Georgias natural wine revival. Based in the village of Obcha in Imereti, the family has farmed their ancestral vineyards for generations, but it wasnt until 2015 that Baia officially established Baias Wine. Focused on traditional qvevri vinification and organic practices, the winery has quickly become one of the countrys most respected boutique producers. Baia and her sister Gvantsa are particularly known for championing indigenous varieties and reviving old methods, blending deep local knowledge with global sensibility.

Serve slightly chilled at 1012C in a white wine or tulip glass to emphasize the wines aromatics and structure. An ideal companion to grilled poultry, trout, vegetarian moussaka, fresh cheeses like feta or halloumi, and Georgian dishes like khachapuri or pkhali.
