Taste : Medium bodied with mouth watering acidity, this has beautiful aromas of limes and oranges. More citrus and pears on the palate with a dry, salty finish.

Story : California native Gina Giugni founded Lady of the Sunshine in 2017. Growing up on her familys biodynamic farm, Narrow Gate Vineyards in Northern California’s Sierra Foothills, Gina developed a passion for biodynamic farming and terroir-driven wines. Gina is producing wines that are a playful yet serious expression of Californias diverse vineyards. The wines are made with wild yeast, aged in neutral oak, and left unfined and unfiltered. This blend, while unusual for California, is inspired by the traditional blends of the Cheverny region in the Loire Valley and was very fun to taste next to Tessier Cheverny. Gina and her husband Mike also run Scar of the Sea.
