Tequila Ocho “Continental” Aged in Cognac Casks Anejo Tequila

This is one of three releases in the brand’s 2020 Barrel Select Collection. For this series, Tequila Ocho Founders Carlos Camarena and Tomas Estes partnered with Maison Ferrand Master Blender Alexandre Gabriel. The anejo tequilas began as always with 100% blue weber agave from Los Altos, Jalisco sourced from a unique field. But instead of very used ex-bourbon barrels, Continental aged exclusively in Maison Ferrand Ambre Cognac casks.
